A Grand Day Out – South Elmsall

The event is taking place at South Elmsall Town Council Social Club. To access the event site, follow the Social Clubs entrance ramp.

This site can be easily navigated without having to cross any steps, however, there is slight decline from the top of the social club to the bottom. A mapped area of the event including accessible toilets can be found here (a link to the site map will be available here for you to view soon).

Our friendly team of staff, security, first aiders and contractors will be on hand to offer any assistance. You can find us in ither Hi-Viz or Wakefield council Uniform, look for ‘EVENT STAFF’ on our backs!

Please note this is not a ticketed event and therefore we cannot confirm what the site capacity will be on the day. However, as this is a big open green space, we don’t expect too much crowding.

Toilets – A portable disabled access toilet unit will be located in the Social Clubs carpark however if you prefer, full accessible toilets can be found next to the bowling green or inside the Social Club. The Social Club can also be used as a changing space.

Parking – There is on street parking on Westfield Lane.

Mobility Scooter/Wheelchair Hire – Unfortunately this isn’t a facility we can provide at this site.

Should you need medical attention please inform a member of staff or security on site, they will direct you to the medical tent or request for a medic to come to you.

Unfortunately, we do not have any secure storage for medicines on site.

Assistance dogs are welcomed to all areas of the event, this must be an assistance dog that is recognised by one of the official charitable organisations as members of Assistance Dogs UK.

Follow the link here – Car parks in South Elmsall – Wakefield Council to see all on street and off street car parks in South Elmsall however we feel that the most accessible and closest car park to the Social Club is Barnsley Road (Market) car park car park – WF9 2SE. Please note this is approximately a 10-minute walk.

You can reach the event by bus or by train with no trouble.
